Lt. Gov. John Cherry on Wedsday, March 8th!

Lt. Gov. John Cherry will be the guest speaker at the next Membership Meeting of the Washtenaw Democratic Party. He has specifically asked for a chance to meet people so we have arranged for the first minutes of the meeting to be an informal reception time where you will get a chance to meet and speak with him. While you're waiting to speak to the Lt. Gov. we will have all the materials you will need to sign up to be a Precinct Delegate. We will have the necessary forms and a notary will be on hand to formalize your petition. So, come this Wednesday evening, talk to Lt. Gov. John Cherry and sign up to be a precinct delegate.

Michigan Democratic Party State Convention:

All are invited to attend the Michigan Democratic Party convention this Saturday in Lansing, at the Lansing Center, from 9-5pm. Gov. Granholm and Sen. Stabenow will be speaking, as well as the Attorney General and Secretary of State candidates for 2006. If you need a ride or are interested in carpooling, please email Laura.

Kestenbaum for County Clerk Fundraiser:

County Clerk Larry Kestenbaum announces that his first annual President's Day fundraiser will be held on Monday, February 20, starting at 5:30 pm, at the home of Al & Mary Hegerich, 5195 Pontiac Trail, Ann Arbor (3 miles north of Dhu Varren Road, on the left).
