Ann Arbor Fundraiser for Tony Trupiano:There will be a fundraiser reception in Ann Arbor on Sunday, February 12th, for
Tony Trupiano, recent talk-show host and current candidate for US Congress to oppose incumbent hard-core conservative Republican, Thaddeus McCotter in the 11th District. In 2004, Bush carried the 11th District - which is just East of Washtenaw County and includes Livonia - with only 53% of the vote, so the seat is one of the few in the country that is really up for grabs in a halfway decent Democratic year.
