Voter Registration Drive with Congressman Dingell!
Come out and register voters Saturday, July 5 in Ypsilanti! We will be kicking off our drive with Congressman Dingell and then heading out into the community to register new voters. When you get back, there will be food and drinks provided so we can get together and celebrate our efforts!
This is the last weekend to register to vote in order to vote in the August 5th primaries, so we want to make sure that every single eligible voter is registered!

Health Care Security Campaign Information
The Michigan Health Care Security Campaign (MHCSC) is working to amend the Michigan Constitution so that it will guarantee that all Michigan residents have affordable and comprehensive health care. The Washtenaw County Democratic Party is a member of the campaign coalition. We are collecting signatures to put this issue on the ballot in November. Click here to find out more.

Michigan Health Care Security Campaign
On Monday the Executive Board voted to join the Washtenaw Coaltion for the Michigan Health Care Security Campaign. This is a state-wide campaign to place a health care initiative on the Michigan ballot this fall. The local coalition is chaired by Chuck Warpehoski of the Interfaith Council for Peace and Justice. The coalition is recruiting volunteers to do some signature collecting at various polling sites on Tuesday, Jan. 15th. If you can help for a few hours, please do so. As part of the Blue Tiger civic engagement movement, the Washtenaw Dems are engaged in an educational collaboration with the Ypsilanti Public School System. We are looking for volunteers to help Adams Academy elementary students one-on-one with reading, writing, math, and study skills.
