On Saturday, Sept. 16 from 1-3 p.m. there will be a Public Education Forum on Michigan House Bill 4293, a response to the horrible events in Charlottesville recently. HB 4293 mandates that African American History and the contribution of African Americans to the development of the U.S. and the world be taught throughout Michigan’s schools at all grade levels.
