DESCRIPTION:Postcards for Patriots\, in conjunction with Postcards to Swing States\, needs your help. We have a list of 35\,000 Michigan voters (and can get more) who don’t always vote\, but when they do\, they are likely to vote for our candidates. \nEvery time we get one of them to vote\, 90% of the time they will vote a straight ticket. When they do\, our candidates for these offices get an additional vote: \n\nGovernor & Lieutenant Governor\nSecretary of State\nAttorney General\nUnited States Senator\nRepresentative in Congress\nState Senator\nState Representative\nMembers of the State Boards of Education\nUniversity of Michigan Regents\nMichigan State University Trustees\nWayne State University Governors\n\nIn addition\, these voters are likely to vote for the ballot proposal to get money out of politics and against the ballot proposal to suppress voting.\nWriting postcards with others at our meetings or at home is easy and rewarding. If neither of those days or times work\, please contact us and we’ll make other arrangements. \nWe appreciate your support of our work. DESCRIPTION:As we prepare for the August election and the General Election in November\, it is more important than ever that we turn out to protect the vote and ensure every voice is heard. Join us on July 8 or July 11 for one of our in-person MI Dems Voter Protection Boot Camp sessions. \nEach two-hour session is designed with SE Michigan communities in mind and will be hosted in Detroit. Vote Protectors from all regions are welcome! This is a great opportunity for anyone who prefers an in-person training experience over our asynchronous video options. \nDuring the boot camp\, we will prepare you for critical roles covering in-person voting and the post-election certification.
