Ally Training with Cosecha- Immigrant Rights

December 8, 2019 @ 2:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Cosecha logo

Where do you fit into the fight for immigrant justice? We are working towards permanent protection, dignity and respect for all immigrants – and there’s room for you.

Please join us for Cosecha Ann Arbor’s first ever ally training. Whether you’ve never heard of Movimiento Cosecha (Harvest Movement) or have been involved for a while, we welcome all to this training who are interested in supporting our immigrant-led movement. We’ll talk about Cosecha’s organizing strategies and our role as allies.

Update: The first half of this event, approximately 2:30-5 PM, will be police liaison and crowd control training! Then we will have a dinner break and start our main allies training, which will still occur from about 5:30-8 PM. It’s not mandatory to attend both, though we encourage everyone who’s interested in supporting Cosecha to attend the main allies training if possible.

We will have a dinner break, and there will be food provided. Please message us if you will need childcare.
