Garden Party Fundraiser- Keep the Lights On at the WCDP!

September 8 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

garden party for posts

Come enjoy the last of this Washtenaw summer in Chris and Anne Savage’s luscious garden in Dexter. We’ll have garden fare, craft beer and assorted other beverages, and free garden tours!

Chris, our chair, will fill you in on the improvements to Washtenaw Dems’ infrastructure as we ready ourselves for everything 2020 will bring. State Representative Donna Lasinski will be there to share what our representatives are doing to move Michigan forward. Our county party is blessed with a solid group of people volunteering to keep democracy alive, and we need your help to keep the lights on!

Improvements to infrastructure aren’t free, of course, and there is more to do make sure our 2020 war chest is ready for everything from the March primary to the November election. It only happens because of generous donations of time and money. In 2018, Voter Guides and poll greeters enabled us to achieve a nearly presidential election level of turnout and historically low ballot roll off! People voted more consistently all the way down to those crucial judge races.) The WCDP can win Michigan for our next Democratic president.

We estimate at least 25,000 donated work hours will be needed for our 2020 work, and we need financial support, as well. Your contributions to WCDP stay in the community, directly benefit Washtenaw County, and have the power to shape the state.

So please, RSVP Act Blue.

Levels of support: Guest: $100, Donor: $200, Sponsor: $300.

The host committee includes Ann and Chris Savage, Sam Bagenstos, and Josephine Rood

RSVP Jeff 734-945-5261, or fundraising@washtenawdems.org   (or directly through Act Blue)
