Pilar’s Stands with Immigrants & Refugees Benefit for Immigrant Rights Organizations

Pilar’s Stands with Immigrants & Refugees is a community benefit dinner for four amazing nonprofits here in Washtenaw County: Michigan Immigrant Rights Center, WICIR Washtenaw Interfaith Coalition for Immigrant Rights, Washtenaw Congregational Sanctuary, and Michigan Support Circle. These organizations provide vital services to the immigrant and refugee community. Tickets are $45/adults; $12/kids under 12 and are available to purchase in person at Pilar’s Tamales (cash or check) and online at https://www.pilarsfoundation.org/buy-tickets. Ticket price includes food by Pilar’s Tamales, entrance in a giveaway for a basket of goods from local merchants, and live music by Detroit artist Vespre with opening act George Montrelle. The event also features a silent auction with stunning items from local vendors and artisans including Bløm Meadworks, Motawi Tileworks, The Lunch Room, Kaizen Healing Arts, Privateer Riding Academy, and more.
