DESCRIPTION:As we prepare for the August election and the General Election in November\, it is more important than ever that we turn out to protect the vote and ensure every voice is heard. Join us on July 8 or July 11 for one of our in-person MI Dems Voter Protection Boot Camp sessions. \nEach two-hour session is designed with SE Michigan communities in mind and will be hosted in Detroit. Vote Protectors from all regions are welcome! This is a great opportunity for anyone who prefers an in-person training experience over our asynchronous video options. \nDuring the boot camp\, we will prepare you for critical roles covering in-person voting and the post-election certification. Attendees will be trained to volunteer as a MI Dems Poll Challenger during Early Voting and Election Day and to observe a post-election Board of County Canvassers meeting. \nLocation: Detroit (To Be Announced) \nTime: Wednesday\, July 8 from 7 pm – 9 pm or Saturday\, July 11 from 10 am – 12 pm \nTopics covered will be the same for both dates. \nPlease register here: https://www.mobilize.us/teammichigan/event/979183/
