Ward 3/4 I&A– Polling places, Precincts and Data, Data, Data!

December 11, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The importance of data- knowing who is where, where the votes are and what gets in the way of people voting– is an ever-increasing part of the political landscape. Dirk Mayhew, who acts as Data Officer for the WCDP as well as collaborating with Voters Not politicians, has put together some very instructive maps that bring out disparities in precinct and county commission lines, highlight problems with the placement of polling stations, and identify precincts with very low turnout. Ward 3/4 will look at his data and his analyses, in company with election officials, and discuss how to make a plan.
