The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a Public Safety Town Hall:
Thursday February 5th from 5:15p.m – 6:30p.m.
Topics include:
– The role of local law enforcement in the evolving immigration landscape
– By-stander education and policy
– “Know Your Rights” and how residents can stay informed
– How leaders are preparing at the local and state levels in the current climate
– Public safety updates more broadly for the Washtenaw County area.
– Local resources will be available on site from immigrant’s rights advocates and organizations.
