WCDP Forum and Monthly Members Meeting: Unity (Joint) with Ann Arbor Dems

March 7 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

WCDP community forum

Candidates corner will begin at 9:30.

At 10, we’ll hear from Trevor Thomas from the Fair and Equal Michigan ballot proposal (website is HERE). They will have a resolution asking our members to vote on endorsing this ballot proposal.

Dr. Rose Bellanca, president of Washtenaw Community College, or another representative will speak about their millage renewal. They will also have a resolution asking our members to vote on endorsing this ballot proposal.

We will be voting on the update to our bylaws, proposed by Liano Sharon, and we may have other resolutions to consider, including from U of M students who want to see a clear opposition in the party platform to the Israeli occupation of the West bank, including home demolition and illegal settlements.

We’ll also hear from the new leadership of the Precinct Organizing Committee about how to get our voters MOBILIZED!

Because this is a voting meeting, we will be checking members in. If you don’t know if your membership is current, please contact

Non-members are welcome as always, but will not be able to vote. You are also invited to bring non-perishable food items or warm winter wear for our Dems Care program. The need is ongoing.
