Due to the Independence Day holiday, the July 2021 WCDP General Membership meeting will be held on Saturday, July 10th beginning at 9:30 a.m. via Zoom. At this meeting, we will ONLY be considering resolutions so attendees will be required to preregister so we can check your MDP membership in order to vote.
To vote, you must have been an MDP member for 30 days prior to the meeting (by June 10th). If you are a partisan countywide elected official, or were the Democratic candidate in the most previous election, or are a Precinct Delegate, the 30-day requirement is waived. However, you will still need to become an MDP member prior to voting. You can join the MDP by going to https://michigandems.com/join.

Per the WCDP’s bylaws (Section 8, available here: https://www.washtenawdems.org/bylaws/), resolutions presented in advance of the meeting require a simple majority vote of the members in attendance. Resolutions presented at the meeting will require a two-thirds (2/3) vote to pass. If you wish to submit a resolution prior to the meeting, we must receive it no later than Friday, July 2nd.
