Message from the Chair, Chris Savage
Due to the rapidly spreading COVID-19 coronavirus, the Washtenaw County Democratic Party is closing our office, and in-person meetings of other groups within the WCDP are also cancelled. The dedicated volunteers on our committees are still working hard to ensure a Blue victory in November, though, and we will be holding our General Membership meeting online. We hope you will join us.
We’ll be using the online conferencing software Zoom. The meeting will start with updates from a number of groups dealing with COVID-19. After these important updates, we will hear from speakers from the A2Zero program.
To join the General Membership Meeting, make sure you have the latest version of Zoom downloaded on your phones, tablet, laptop, or computer. Then, click on the following link to join the meeting:

These actions are not taken lightly, nor are they taken with a sense of panic. They are taken as a prudent measure to minimize the transmission of a very serious virus in our cosmopolitan community, to ensure that our healthcare infrastructure is not overwhelmed, and to make sure that vulnerable members of our community are not put at any additional risk. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we all adapt to this new, temporary reality.
Once the risk of this virus has subsided, we will resume normal operations as our work to promote our Democratic values, ideals, and candidates in 2020 and beyond is more important than ever.
