Let’s show that Dems Care, by helping to gather badly-needed winter clothing for our vulnerable families. Washtenaw Dems are collaborating with Jewish Family Services, the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office and the Jewish Community Center to ensure that our Head Start children and the refugee families we are welcoming are warm this winter.
We’re asking for coats, hats, gloves, and boots, new or very gently used and clean, for WISD Early Intervention, Head Start and the Refugee Families (their need is particularly great) served by WISD and JFS Refugee Resettlement. See more details here.
