Young Dems Washtenaw (YDW) is organizing young people like ourselves in Washtenaw County to lead the growth and evolution of the Democratic Party at the county, state, and national levels. We share the values of the Washtenaw County Democratic Party (WCDP) and promote candidates, ballot measures, and policies that –

• advance economic, environmental, and social justice in all jurisdictions;
• promote comprehensive, equitable, and accessible public education at all levels for everyone in the area;
• defend the human rights and civil liberties of everyone in our community;
• empower young people and members of marginalized communities to live and thrive in Washtenaw County, and
• ensure that the Washtenaw County area remains a vibrant, diverse, and welcoming community.
