We met t at the Learning Resource Center and via Zoom on October 5, 9:30 – 11:30 am, enjoying donuts from Washtenaw Dairy (thanks to Rae Ann Weymouth) in addition to regular coffee and treats supplied by Eli Nathans (thank you, Eli!). On the program:
9:45 – 10:15 Updates from electeds
- Prosecutor Eli Savit on vandalism in Dexter to homes with Harris-Walz signs
- Debbie Dingell, U.S. Congress
- Others from around the county and Lansing who will inform and energize
10:15 – 11:30
- Learn about and practice meaningful conversations on doors with Crystal Lyte and Sharon Simonton – have some fun with role-playing!
- Learn mini-VAN hands-on as we prepare for Voter Guide delivery! (Janet Cannon)
- Learn about the Sustainable Electric Utility (SEU) proposal from A2Zero ambassador Janet Cannon
- Learn how to use the fantastic voter-finding tool WAVE
- Sign up to go door-to-door to make sure people are registered and signed up to vote at home.
- Sign up to deliver Voter Guides
- Pick up yard signs and Voter Guides!
