Showing of “Borderland: The Line Within” – Ann Arbor – Ticket Event

Temple Beth Emeth, in collaboration with an interfaith network of religious congregations in Ann Arbor, is sponsoring the film, Borderland: The Line Within, to fund legal services for Michigan immigrants whose rights are being violated and who are without representation. Proceeds from the ticket sales, along with additional donations, will go to the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center, (MIRC), to support the work of their immigration legal teams. Borderland: The Line Within, is a moving documentary that exposes the profitable business of immigration enforcement by telling the stories of individual immigrants as they come together, despite threats of violence, detention and deportation, to build a social movement for human rights. Following the movie, there will be a Q & A with the director, Pamela Yates, and the producer, Paco de Onis. Location: The Michigan Theater, 603 East Liberty Street, Ann Arbor.
